Huge set erected in Chennai for Robo 2.0

Sensational director Shankar is currently working on the sequel of Robo which has been titled 2.0. The film stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in lead roles and Amy Jackson is the female lead.

As per the latest reports, lavish songs have been planned to be shot in Ukraine during some extreme temperatures. However, keeping Rajinikanth’s health in mind, Shankar recreated the theme set of Ukraine in Chennai and the song has been canned.

A Hollywood VFX expert worked for the song which is said to be the first ever song shot like this. Rajinikanth wrapped up his part and the post-production work is currently on cards. 2AR Rahman composed the music and Lyca Productions bankrolled the film.
