Krish’s historical opus launched in an unique style

Talented director Krish is all set to helm yet another interesting historic drama which will be based on the history of Maratha queen Jhansi Laxmi Bhai. Titled as Manikarnika, the film features Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut in the titular role.

Unlike the regular launch, Krish has chalked out a unique launch event for this prestigious project. He announced the film from Kasi ghat in Varanasi. The core team performed a ritual on the banks of Ganga river.

The regular shooting of the film will commence shortly. Popular writer Vijayendra Prasad penned the script for the film and Shankar – Ehsan – Loy will score the music. The film will be made as a Hindi – Telugu bilingual and has been aimed for April 27th 2018 release.
