AR Murugadoss is one of the top directors of South Indian cinema and all his films will end with a strong social message. During his recent media interaction, AR Murugadossrevealed that he has narrated a script to Superstar Rajinikanth and the movie will start rolling once Rajinikanth wraps up the shoot of Kaala.

He further added that the pre-production work of the project is happening and the schedules of the film are being planned. Murugadoss revealed that he is also in plans to direct a straight Bollywood movie and he narrated a script to Salman Khan which impressed him.

But he needs to wait for Salman to wrap up all his commitments. Murugadoss is currently busy with the post-production work of Spyder which has been aimed for September 27th release during Dasara. Mahesh Babu, Rakul Preet Singh are the lead actors in the movie and NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu bankrolled the big budget action thriller.

Interesting character for Sharwanand in his next

Ace director Maruthi is currently busy shooting for his next film Mahanubhavudu, which stars Sharwanand in lead role. The film touches the ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission launched by PM Narendra Modi.

Sharwa’s character will be very particular about cleanliness, an acute level of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), which is showcased in a lighter vein. Sharwa’s concern for cleanliness is so much that he asks the heroine if she brushed her teeth twice when the heroine gets cozy with him.

The screenplay is full of such entertaining moments, and it is heard that the comedy part has come out very well. However, Mehreen is playing leading lady.

Never before seen technology for NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa

The shooting of NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa is progressing at a jet speed and the film is set to hit the screens on September 21st. This film also needs heavy CG work as NTR is essaying three different characters. It is heard that the makers used sophisticated technology.
As per the reports, Milo Motion Control Rigs and Mo-Sys Camera Motion Systems were used extensively during the shooting stage. And, this technology facilitated the integration of 3-layer shots on the sets itself.

If not for this technique, makers would have had to do CG work for almost 80 percent of the movie because NTR is essaying three roles, and it would have taken months for the completion of VFX part. Producer Kalyanram Nandamuri’s Advitha Creative Studios is handling most of the CG work of Jai Lava Kusa. Anil Paduri is heading the VFX team.
The Runtime of Jai Lava Kusa is 2 hours and 37 minutes (first half 1:18 and second half 1:19 including titles), which is decent considering that stories of three characters have to be narrated in that time frame.

Latest update about Mahesh’s Spyder trailer

Mahesh Babu’s starrer Spyder is the most awaited film of the year. The film unit is on the last leg of the shoot and they are likely to wrap up the complete shoot by end of this month.

It is learnt that Mahesh Babu’s Spyder theatrical trailer is going to release on September 9th on the occasion of huge promotional event planned for the Tamil version on that day in Chennai.
Spyder is a costly budget film which is being made Rs.100 Cr which will be released in two languages Tamil and Telugu. The makers of the movie have released only one audio song from the movie and fans of Mahesh have been demanding the release of other songs from the film.

The movie will set to arrive in theatres in the month of September on the eve of Dasara. Spyder helmed by AR Murugadoss, stars Rakul Preet and SJ Suryah in the lead roles.

Anando Brahma set to remake in all Southern languages

Director Mahi Raghav says remake talks have been initiated for the remake of his latest Telugu release ” Anando Brahma “, a horror comedy which stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead, in multiple languages.

Mahi Raghav said, “The film is doing extremely well. We are very pleased with the response. We have already been approached for the remake from all the southern languages and Bollywood as well. The process will take a few more weeks.”
Set in a haunted house, the film revolves around four characters with some flaws. In an entertaining twist, the ghosts in the film are afraid of humans and this angle has worked wonders for the film at the box office. According to the film’s US distributor Nirvana Cinemas, “Anando Brahma” has minted $300,000 from its opening weekend.

Produced by 70 mm Entertainments, the film also stars Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar, Srinivas Reddy and Tagubothu Ramesh.

Nani to team up with legendary director for his next

Natural Star Nani is very much happy and busy with his upcoming projects. Already he signed back to back films to keep himself occupied for the next two years. Until the end of 2018, he will be busy finishing the commitments.

Meanwhile, the interesting buzz is that Nani might be teaming up with the legendary director Mani Ratnam after finishing all the ongoing projects.

Nani likes Mani Ratnam and the director also likes the actor. Both share a good rapport with each other. Nani even lent his voice for Dulquer Salmaan for the film Ok Bangaram. The producer said, “Along with Teja, I am also introducing director Hari with this village-centric love story,’ says the producer who describes it as a ‘wholesome family entertainer,’ The film which was launched recently, set to go on floors from September. ‘Script has come out really well and we are truly banking on it.”

Nonetheless, Teja joins the big list of child-artiste-turned heroes like Tarun, Aditya and Tanish. Superstar Mahesh Babu seems to be determined to break records, particularly in Hindi dubbing rights for his big-ticket films. As per the latest reports, his upcoming film ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’, which is being directed by director Koratala Siva, clocks a record since it was reportedly bought for Rs 16 crore.

Mahesh Babu is ahead in his pan-Indian appeal and his films have been bought for prices anywhere between Rs 10 to 15 crore per film, but his latest one touches a new high (barring Rs 24 crore for his multilingual film ‘Spyder’).

In fact, it was Mahesh Babu who brought more money for overseas rights for his producers from ‘Athadu’ to ‘Spyder’ and now getting them Hindi dubbing rights as an additional source of income.

Fidaa beauty remuneration details

According to reports, actress Sai Pallavi, who is the current heartthrob of the Telugu film industry, has doubled fees post the success of her maiden Tollywood outing ‘Fidaa’. A source close to Pallavi said that her fees is now close to Rs 60 Lakhs.

“Like many actresses, Sai Pallavi hiked her remuneration and is now demanding Rs 60 lakhs,” added the source. Fidaa’ was a romantic-drama and also featured Varun Tej in the lead. In it, Sai Pallavi essayed the role of a girl from Telangana and won hearts thanks to her lively performance. The film too fared well at the box office and received rave reviews.

Sometime ago, Sai Pallavi had revealed that she was overwhelmed by the response to Fidaa. She had gone on to add that for her Telugu is now synonymous with the Telangana accent. Sai Pallavi is currently gearing up for the release of ‘MCA’. In it, she will be seen alongside Nani.

It is common knowledge that Akkineni Nagarjuna is looking all the production activities of his son Akhil’s second project. Directed by Vikram Kumar, the untitled film is tipped to be a new- age romantic entertainer.

The film is tentatively scheduled to hit the screens in December. Nagarjuna unveiled the first poster of the film.

Arjun Reddy’s director reveals shocking facts about film

Young hero Vijay Devarakonda’s next film Arjun Reddy has been receiving thumping response ever since the trailer of the film has been released. The film is directed by the debutant director Sandeep Vanga. Touted to be an emotional romantic drama, Shalini Shetty essayed the heroine’s role.

Sandeep during his interview revealed that he faced many struggles in this journey and it was through director Kranthi Madhav, he narrated the script to Sharwanand initially.
He said “I completed scripting and narrated it to Sharwanand and Swapna Dutt. Both were quite excited but somehow they are not on board today. After starting my work shop with Vijay and Shalini, I realized that I had the right actors for my script. Arjun Reddy is not completely about anger management and it discusses about various sensibilities. We shot the film in Mangalore, Hyderabad and Europe. After many producers rejected the script, it was my brother who decided to produce the film”.

Arjun Reddy is all set for August 25th release and Radhan composed the music. The audio of the film is topping the music chart.

It is heard that Jr NTR has heard a storyline from Chandrasekhar Yeleti and liked it. NTR has, however, asked to develop the story further.

Confirmed! Female lead confirmed for Prabhas’ Sahoo

The makers of Prabhas’ Saaho put all the rumors and speculation stories to rest by officially announcing the leading lady of their film. The leading Lady of Saaho has been the talk of the town ever since the film was announced. The search has finally ended as Shradhha Kapoor has been finalized for the part.

The makers are quite excited to welcome Shraddha to the Saaho family. It will be very interesting to see this fresh pairing on the silver screen. Post Baahubali, there were a lot of names of actresses who were keen to do the film but makers felt Shraddha Kapoor fit the role perfectly.

Producers (Vamsi and Pramod) of UV Creations confirmed the news and said “Shraddha is absolutely the perfect choice for the role. We are very excited to have her on board with us. They further added, “Saaho is Prabhas’s first film being shot in Hindi and so it’s very special for all of us. It is a highly ambitious project and there will be some really high octane action scenes in the film.”

Saaho, which is Prabhas’ ambitious hi tech action drama has already kick-started shoot and it is being shot in three languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Prabhasstarts filming for the same from mid-August. A massive set has been erected for Saaho in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

An UV Creations production, ‘Saaho’ is produced by Vamsi and Pramod and directed by Sujeeth – is being filmed at striking locations in, around and outside the country. Music by the awesome trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics will be written by the very talented Amitabh Bhattacharya.  Saaho will also see Neil Nitin Mukesh playing the antagonist. Story:
The story revolves around a guy whose name is A. Sathyam, which he mixes up and tell as Asathyam(Translates to Lie). So whatever he says will be a lie after all. In this confusion, he meets a girl and falls for her and tries to impress her.
During the course, she falls for him for his lies. But suddenly, the introduction of a bag messes up the entire run of his life and his love life. A Don(Arjun) who wants that bag to be sent ends up in Sathyam’s hand. The bag has some useful information which even the police wants. What’s there in that bag? What are the messes did Satyam faced? What happens to their love story? Forms the rest of the story.

Positive Aspects:

Nithiin has delivered a brilliant performance in LIE and his looks and action are the highlights of the film. Megha Akash has done justice to her role and her chemistry with the hero is good. Arjun Sarja, Sri Ram, Ajay, Nassar, Ravi Kishan, Brahmaji, Prithviraj and Brahmanandam have also done good jobs
Mani Sharma’s songs and background score, J Yuvaraj’s cinematography, beautiful locales and choreography of action and chase scenes are the attractions on the technical front.

Star actor and mass director set to team up soon?

Superstar Mahesh Babu is busy shooting for his upcoming film SPYder and soon after completion of the film, he will begin shooting for his next Bharath Ane Nenu. After that film, Mahesh will next team up with Vamshi Paidipally for his landmark 25th film.

For the past few days, there were many rumours that Mahesh Babu will team up with Boyapati Srinu. However, now in a recent media interaction, Boyapati revealed that he was supposed to team up with Mahesh long back, but things didn’t work in his favour as he didn’t come up with a convincing script.

He further added that he is now working on a science fiction script for Mahesh Babu. It is heard that there will be a final narration after which Mahesh will decide on the project. If everything goes well, a top production house will bankroll this project.

SPYder teaser took internet by storm

The teaser of superstar Mahesh Babu and A R Murugadoss’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual spy-thriller `Spyder’ was released on the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s 41st birthday and took the Internet by storm. The teaser was released in Tamil as well as Telugu.

Going by the visuals, the film assures epic clash between Mahesh and SJ Suryah, who plays the antagonist. It seems to be a typical Murugadoss kind of teaser with a villain creating problems to the society and the hero standing up against him.

`Spyder’ is about bio-terrorism and the hero’s fight against it. Lavanya Tripathi has been constantly trying to get into the big league of heroines. Now, the latest buzz reveals that she will be a part of VV Vinayak’s upcoming project. Sai Dharam Tej is playing the lead in the film. The film launch took place yesterday.
The film is tipped to be an action and family entertainer in the lines of Vinayak’s previous actioners. Lavanya Tripathi who did act with Sirish in Srirasthu Subhamasthu finally landed herself on this project.

Sam opens up about her plans about Handloom sector

During a recently handloom event Woven, Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about why she cares such a lot for the handloom sector and won quite a few hearts along the way. While taking on the issue, she said last year when she visited a few villages in Telangana she learned that handloom workers earn only 10 percent of what their products are worth. She went on to add that this made her realize that there is a need to preserve our culture and strive for the betterment of handloom workers.

“Earlier this year I visited many villages in Telangana. I met many wonderful men and women who dedicated their lives to handlooms. Unfortunately they earn one tenth of the prices at which their products are sold. It was disheartening. It is sad that the town and cities where the art once thrived is now fading away. The young generation does not want to take up the profession because it pays less. Do we want to be a generation that caused the death of tradition and culture?” she added.

NTR releases press statement regarding Service Tax of Nannaku Prematho

Reports were doing rounds that Jr NTR was served a show cause notice by tax authorities in connection with Service tax for his 2015 film Nannaku Prematho. Reports suggested that there were some issues with the Service tax charged by the actor for the film and is now being served the notice asked to pay that. Jr NTR has now opened up about this issue and released a statement clarifying the issue.

“I have acted in the above film in 2015 which was made in the UK by the producer. I was advised by legal and tax experts that any Service (in this case as an actor) rendered outside India for which payment is received in Foreign Exchange, is not taxable for Service Tax in India. Accordingly, I have not collected the service tax from the producer of “Nannaku Prematho”,” read the statement by Jr NTR.

The statement also said, “In 2016 when C&AG officials conducted a review of my Service Tax returns and raised a query, my legal and economic team gave an explanation in writing about the same. After sending that written reply in 2016, till date, we have not received any further communication regarding this mater, like a show cause notice or demand, from the authorities.”

He also said that he is a law abiding citizen and if asked by the authorities to pay, will clear all the dues if applicable. “If and when I receive any communication from the authorities, I will respond as per the applicable law. I have been a law abiding citizen and faithful Income tax and Service tax payer for the last several years,” said the statement.
