Mass Maharaj to experiment new role in his next
Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja seems to be in a mood to experiment. After essaying the role of a blind man in `Raja The Great,’ he is all set to do the remake of Tamil hit film Bogan, which is a super natural thriller revolving around `transmigration’. Even though, Ravi Teja will be essaying the role of an honest cop, he encounters a baddy who is an exponent in switching souls.
A source close to the unit said, “It will go down as one of the most challenging roles for Ravi Teja since the subject of transmigration is altogether a new genre for the new generation Telugu viewers. The Telugu version will also be directed by Lakshman. “Mostly, Tamil director will be retained for the remake since he can handle the unique plot very well,” adds source.
The Tamil film was produced by Prabhu Deva and Ganesh, while the Telugu version will be produced by Ram Talluri who made films like `Chuttalabbai’. In fact, Ravi Teja will be doing a Tamil remake after a long gap, since his last Tamil remake was ‘Naa Autograph’.
