Super Star Mahesh Babu's forthcoming film in the direction of Murugudoss completed the half of the movie shoot. According to sources, Mahesh and their team are heading to Mumbai to complete climax sequence and it would be a high lengthy action sequence.

A source close to the unit reveals that there will be a major action climax scene between the terrorist group and an anti-terrorist wing headed by Mahesh. In some place, the winter has gone but in northern states still it is freezing and a lot of foggy.

Even though the makers of the movie didn't step back for the weather they would like to complete the movie as early as possible to release the movie on the promised day to Mahesh fans. Rakul Preet will be seen playing a lead role in the movie alongside Mahesh Babu.

Gopi Chand turns a powerful Robinhood of TFI

Mass Maha Raja Ravi Teja signed a film, which will be directed by debutante Chakri and the film has been titled Robinhood. This mass entertainer has been planned to be launched last year however Ravi Teja walked out of the project due to undisclosed reasons.

Now after a brief gap, Chakri managed to impress Gopichand for the role and he signed the film recently. The movie is expected to start next month and is said to be a mass entertainer. Mickey J Mayor will compose the music and an official announcement is expected to be out soon.

V Anand Prasad will produce Robinhood on Bhavya Creations banner. Meanwhile, Gopichand wrapped up the shoot of Oxygen and Gautam Nanda which is directed by Sampath Nandi.

It is heard that the film is going to be a love story set on the backdrop of 90s and that too in total village backdrop.If the latest reports are to be believed, the team is currently working on locking a title and Mogalturu Monagadu is being considered.

Apparently, Ram Charan’s native is Mogalturu and his dad Chiranjeevi hailed from that place. Well, let us wait for the official confirmation though.

Natural Star Nani has been unstoppable at the box-office and he has been surprising the audience with his comic timing. Nani’s recent offering Nenu Local turned a blockbuster hit in his career and he is currently in USA shooting for his next in the direction of Siva.

 Nani signed a film for Venu Sriram which will be launched soon. As per the latest reports, Malayalam sensation Sai Pallavi is being considered to play the female lead in the movie. However, an official confirmation is yet to be received from the makers.

  The film is said to be a romantic entertainer and Dil Raju will bankroll the project which will start its regular proceedings from May this year. Sai Pallavi is currently shooting for Fidaa with Varuntej which is also produced by Raju.

Hit combo Akkineni Nagarjuna and legendary director Raghavendra Rao teamed up yet again to weave magic again with another devotional outing Om Namo Venkateshaya. The film depicts the life history of saint follower Hathiram Baba, an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. The film hit the screens today. Let’s see how it will be:

Story:

Om Namo Venkatesaya is a devotional and biographical film, which has been written by K Raghavendra Rao. The movie is based on the life of Hathiram Bhavaji, who was an ardent devotee of Lord Venkaestwara. The director has weaved an interesting screenplay, which is engaging and entertaining.

Positive Aspects:

Om Namo Venkatesaya is an effectively made on one of the greatest Lord venkateswara devotees hathiram bhavaji. Devotional Songs and its picturization is too good. Nag’s finest performance, Sourabh Raj Jain as Lord Venkateswara are major assets.

Pragya Jaiswal, Anushka acted well. Brahmanandam, Aditya Menon, Rao Ramesh, Raghu Babu, Pruthviraj and Vimala are also good assets of the movie

Jagapatibabu appears in a surprise special role. K.Raghavendra rao deserves a big thumps up for sticking to the core story. He explains significance of Swami vari sesha vasthram, Agni teerdham and Nitya Kalyanam etc rituals easily understandable for current generation. Production values are good.

M M Keeravani‘s songs and background score, S Gopal Reddy‘s camera work, Gautham Raju’s editing, beautiful art works and costumes are the main attractions on the technical front.

Negative Aspects:

The comedy quotient is too less in the film. The overdose of devotional touch may not go well with few sections of audiences. The lengthy run time is also drawback of the film.

Verdict:

Om Namo Venkatesaya is a must watch for devotees and a decent watch for all. This film will remains as the career performance of Nagarjuna.

Venkatapuram Trailer Out: Edgy and engrossing thriller

Rahul alias Tyson (Happy Days fame) is all set to blow our minds away with his next film Venkatapuram. The first trailer just dropped in and we bowled over. Venkatapuram trailer is, hands down, one of the best trailers in the recent times. This trailer will simply give you sleepless nights till the film’s release. Yep! The excitement for the film will keep you up at nights.

What’s hot:

Just one shot of Rahul and his amazing expressions, and you will be hooked to this awesome trailer. We bet you would play this trailer on loop, right after your first viewing. Yep! There is kicking and punching and full on screen play based thrilling action. It was a glimpse that Venkatapuram film will be dazzling with witty and quotable dialogues and the trailer proves the notion more strongly.

Venkatapuram is a very well written film and the film is going to be sure shot memorable. And giving him company this time is debutante Mahima Makwin. Yes! Mahira Khan is there in the trailer. Her and Rahul’s chemistry is one just another level. They complement each other. More power to you guys.  The movie is dabbed with thrilling flavour, as you see a lot of electrifying elements in the trailer.  

The film’s director Venu makes the trailer intense with all the proper ingredients. His narration and the suspense in the trailer are outstanding. Achu’s background score surely takes the film to the next level. Achu’s BGM is terrific.

What’s not:

NOTHING! The film’s trailer lives upto the hype created by the first and second look posters.

Mega hero’s most awaited trailer date locked

upreme hero Sai Dharamtej scored back to back hits in his career and now he is gearing up for his next movie Winner. The movie is all set to surprise the audience during Shivaratri this year. 

 

Touted to be mass entertainer, the film is directed by Gopichand Malineni and Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead. The entire shoot of the film has been wrapped up recently. 

 

As per the latest reports, the makers are in plans to release the theatrical trailer of the movie tomorrow and Winner’s trailer will be screened in theatres across AP and Telangana from February 10th.

 

A massive pre-release event has been planned on February 19th and SS Thaman composed the music.

 Nallamalapu Bujji, Tagore Madhu are jointly producing the movie. Winner is all set for February 24th release.

Lavanya gives huge shock to Touch Chesi Chudu team

We had already reported that Ravi Teja’s next Touch Chesi Chudu in the direction of Vikram Siri went on to floors recently. However, in a sudden turn of events, the entire team received a sudden shock. 

 

According to the latest reports, one of film’s leading ladies Lavanya Tripathi (Raashi Khannais another heroine) has opted out of the film. It is heard that Lavanya is currently shooting for three films, had a packed schedule ahead of her and so, couldn’t accommodate dates for Touch Chesi Chudu.

 

A source close to the unit said that, “The team met Lavanya recently and discussed the modalities. Unfortunately, the dates of the film are coming in clash with that of her current projects, forcing her to miss out on an opportunity to work with the mass maharaja. She is unhappy with the development but can’t help it.”

 

However, now the makers have to find out new actress for the role.  

Exotic natural locations for Ram Charan’s next

It is already a known fact that Mega Powerstar Ramcharan and Sukumar teamed up for a village based romantic entertainer. Sukumar is currently busy finalizing the looks of Ramcharan and the final look is yet to be locked. 

 

Though the makers wanted to erect some massive sets for the film, but Sukumar wants to shoot the film over natural locales. 

 

As per the latest update, the entire film will be shot in Kerala and the locations have been finalized recently. Samantha is the female lead and she will be seen in a traditional look in the movie.

 

The regular shoot of the movie is expected to start from the first week of March and the movie will hit the screens during September. Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll this big budget film.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s next has been launched which will be directed by a debutant Krishna RV. Touted to be a cross-genre film, the film will have Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead. 

 

The film starts off with a romantic touch and soon it takes a turn. The film has several unexpected turns which will impress the audience big. Chaitu plays a regular youngster and the love story will be presented in an engaging way.
